Snow in May ( Written May 2014)

Ice cold you creep
hiding, escondido behind the sky's eyelids
gazing upward in life
counseling the temperature of your ambiance

Defying the eternal clock of seasons,
you pour wintry elation of gray
How can one express?- Your unwarranted quality crisply-cuts
Springs aesthetic grace?

I almost embraced the brisk message of incessant variety, my arms outstretched
fingertips extended as a symbolic gesture of an opened heart

Passionless you assault flowers,
hopelessly touching tree limbs
devastation is your footprint

Snow in May I almost attempted a love affair with your arrival

Almost.
